How are you coping with lockdown?
I know that there will be a myriad of different reactions and feelings towards lock down and probably all in one person!
What is it to you?
An infringement on our civil liberties?
A blessed relief from the stress of strains of 21st century living?
Imprisonment, Lonely and isolating, Depressing
A battleground over homework/housework/home working and general getting on top of each other?
An opportunity to get fit/healthy/ get gardening/be with the kids/get your a and p done
Demotivating- so you give up on the diet/any personal goals/exercise/keeping the house clean and tidy/keeping up your own personal appearance/your studies
I am guessing that most of us fluctuate between all of the above and I know that the grass will be greener on the other side of any body's fence right now. so for example, I envy my single friend without children who has been furloughed- she has peace, solitude, time for herself, 80% of her salary...... yet I also know she is bored, lonely, worried for her job and feels trapped in her flat.
So we all have things to get angry and upset about....... and things to be grateful for.
I am planning a webinar via the software and website zoom on Friday 1st May at 4.30pm. This will be a support email if you are struggling with motivation/worry about exams/what to learn and what to leave out/ or anything else- except questions about a and p- we can run another webinar on that if you like with our a and p support tutor. It will be 30-40 minutes in length.
To join you need to in advance of the webinar
Click this link and follow the instructions;
You will be adding some software to your computer but it is safe. Thousands of businesses use it.
On Friday around 4.20pm, click the link in the invite below to join the call.
Hopefully you all have cameras on your laptops/phones so we can see you.
We can treat this as a trial run and do another one if it doesn’t quite work out!!
